Winston-Salem State came into Saturday’s game against Livingstone looking to send its seniors out with a win in their final regular season game at Bowman Gray. Mission accomplished.

WSSU used a big first quarter to catapult itself to a 40-21 win over Livingstone and win its fifth-consecutive game in a row.

The Rams scored early and often in the first quarter, starting with a safety and adding three touchdowns to take a commanding 30-0 lead into the second quarter. The Blue Bears would respond with a rally attempt, but it was too little too late.

Check the highlights below:

WSSU is now 6-2 while Livingstone is 2-6.
