Tennessee State lands dismissed Clemson DE Ebenezer Ogundeko

Tennessee State has had a lot of success over the past couple of seasons by bringing in transfers from the FBS. Ex-Clemson defensive lineman Ebenezer Ogundeko is hoping to become the next success story as he has announced he will play at TSU in 2015.

//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js Ogundek was dismissed from Clemson in May following his arrest for financial transaction fraud. The 6’3, 250 defensive end was the top-rated player in the state of New York for the 2015 signing class. He redshirted as a freshman and played in six game as a reserve defensive lineman in 2014.

He will be eligible to play immediately at TSU, though TSU learned this week it will be ineligible for the postseason in 2015.

Tennessee State coach Rob Edwards has had success with players like A.C. Leonard and De’Aunte Saunders, who both came from Florida. The team currently has nine FBS transfers on its roster, including former Clemson offensive lineman Shaq Anthony.
