One of black college football’s most prestigious classics will not take place in 2015. The New York Urban League will not have its 2015 Football Classic, which was slated to feature Morgan State and Howard, according to HBCU Digest.
The NYUL sent a letter to Morgan State AD Floyd Kerr, informing him that the game would be canceled.
The game was scheduled for Sept. 26 and was to be a rematch of last year’s classic, which Morgan won 38-35.
