A&T’s 2014 starting quarterback no longer with program

The man who led North Carolina A&T to its best season in over a decade won’t be under center this fall. Quarterback Kwashaun Quick is no longer on the team after violating team rules, according to the News and Record.

The news comes a little over a month after he was arrested in Durham and charged with maintaining a vehicle or residence with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia.”

Quick led A&T to an 8-2 record as a starter last season, his first as the team’s primary signal-caller. The team won a share of the MEAC title for the first time since the 2003 season.

Not only will A&T be without Quick, they’ll also be without his backup, Hassan Klugh, who left the team.
