A&T Breaks Into TSN FCS Top 25

Saturday’s 34-0 win over Savannah State was huge for North Carolina A&T. Not only did A&T secure at least part of the MEAC Championship, it also helped the program become nationally ranked for the first time in over a decade.

The Aggies are now ranked no. 24 in The Sports Network’s FCS poll, one spot ahead of defending MEAC Champ Bethune-Cookman. The Aggies haven’t been included in that poll since the preseason of 2004.

A&T has outscored its last two opponents (Morgan State and Savannah State) 89-0. It has a chance to win the title outright if it can beat archrival North Carolina Central (6-5) in Durham on Saturday.
