Throwback Thursday: Bobby Phills Leads Southern Past Dayton

Youtube has given us another HBCU jewel. Our time machine has taken us back to 1990, when future NBA star Bobby Phills was the engine behind Ben Jobe’s Run-And-Gun Southern Jaguars. This game finds the Jags facing off against Dayton in a rematch from the previous year. You can check out the entire game here, or you can scroll below and see some of the highlights. Either way, this is something to savor.

Phills came into the game as the country’s leading scorer, averaging 38 ppg.
